I appreciate y'all taking a look. Thanks. Mike 5. Still pretty clean 6. Small "Buzzsaw" on this rusty Mopac hopper 7. Just thought I would throw in this last shot of the last train on Saturday Date: 04/16/18 14:11 Re: GECX 7375 through Central Texas this morning Author: Ritzville Looks like you had a good day trackside Mike. Lots of EMD's today along with the GECX unit. I've recently had a couple of those units roll by the backyard. Nice catches of the older hoppers.
Larry Date: 04/16/18 20:17 Re: GECX 7375 through Central Texas this morning Author: bradleymckay UHGSS-13 I'm guessing unit train Harlingen, TX to South St Paul, MN. Probably all empties; don't see any placards. No buffer car. Never seen that symbol before. Odd...
Thanks for the pics! Allen Date: 04/16/18 21:07 Re: GECX 7375 through Central Texas this morning Author: SCKP187 Nice catches Mike. Good to see foreign power and the old fallen flag logos.
Brian Stevens Date: 04/17/18 05:02 Re: GECX 7375 through Central Texas this morning Author: oklachaser Nice catch & photos.
Ronda Thomas Date: 04/17/18 15:45 Re: GECX 7375 through Central Texas this morning Author: gonx I saw the GECX 7375 in Harlingen on Saturday. I didn't see anything unusual that would warrant a unit train, but I think the shortline that regularly stores freight cars may have released a block of empty tank cars.
A unit train of empty Mo-Pac gons departed Harlingen late Saturday night with a single unit, 9669. |
