BNSF 7231 has rewarded my obduracy with a northbound (TT west) grain empty peeking through the iconic twin towers of the Agri Trails Co-op. I’m at the 1500 Avenue crossing looking through 400mm worth of tele-boomer glass. Astute photographers will note that in my B/W teaser shot the sun is glinting off of the left flank of Willie III (my rig). That means it is setting north of this due E-W Kansas country road. Another sure sign that summer is on the way.

Is BNSF accessing this line via UP trackage rights or is its own line between Neva and Lost Springs in service? Thanks.

Trackage rights.....BNSF's line from Neva to Lost Springs has been out of service with the track removed for some years now.

Nice work! I like both images, but especially the chooch threading the grain elevators. Really top notch!
