Not sure what that means, the southbound from Medford usually sits on the main around the corner while the Weed power drops it's train and picks up the sb cars for Weed. When the dance is over there are no cars left, except for some stored cars.

Roseburg is north of Medford and is a different assignment, no through trains to the south. The equipment used between Medford and Weed is somewhat captive as the typical modern cars don't fit through the tunnel near the summit, so the modern cars stay north of Medford, routing through Eugene to the UPrr.

Ok, I didn’t remember where they came South from. And it was an hour later when they made it to Hornbrook for the pickup.
