Western Railroad Discussion > Long Day at the Office - Part 1Date: 04/24/18 02:26 Long Day at the Office - Part 1 Author: funnelfan While most people can't wait to leave work after a long day at the "office", I couldn't wait to chase my "office" into the late afternoon sun! Spent all morning and a good chunk of the afternoon unloading 60 cars of wheat at the Highline facility outside of Spokane, WA. Handing the train off to another crew, I wasted little time in getting back to my own rig to follow the train west toward a falling sun. Track speeds are slow while MOW forces install thousands of ties, so the chase was fairly easy in most regards. Here is a selection of images from the first part of the chase in no particular order. Captions are on the images themself.
