Some were the spine car type and others the 90’ former TOFC flats. Must have been something different this time. That bridge is cursed- hit a cow about 100’ out on the Iowa side one hot summer night, not fun!

If that was the case then you would think there would be restrictions on these trains in windy weather. Wouldn’t want to try jousting with an opposing train in double track territory if it was really windy.
