Steve Date: 06/18/18 02:01 Re: CiT 6012 Author: redneckrailfan Not a former UP unit. CEFX #6012 was built as Soo Line #6012. It was part of the group of 21 units from the first order of Soo SD60’s that Canadian Pacific returned to the lessor in the mid 2000’s. This particular unit was 1of 11such units that were on lease to the Indiana Railroad for several years, becoming INRD 6012, before they replaced the SD60’s with rebuilt CEFX SD9043MAC’s.

ALLEN Date: 06/18/18 20:45 Re: CiT 6012 Author: OldHeadRailroader CP should have kept them and bought them back, INRD was foolish to get rid of them, too. But they were old, tired and needed a rebuild.
