Un par de visitantes del sur
Author: atx_railfan

A pair of southern visitors lead a manifest through the diamonds at McNeil, Texas this afternoon. Fairly slow day, but the foreign (literally!) power made up for it. I also got to ride one of the new CapitalMetro 200 series DMUs.

This brings up a question for me....
As a Canadian, I wonder if your president is going to ban locomotives from Mexico and Canada.
It might not be easy, considering that both major Canadian railways have extensive operations (and many employees) in the US.

The Cheetoh-in-chief is not troubled by mere facts like this. He almost certainly does not understand that CN, for example, serves New Orleans. But when somebody points it out to him, it will immediately become the subject of an early morning tweetstorm. Worry not, this guy has the attention span of a gnat, and he will move on to something else in a few hours.

How sad that children had to destroy this thread. Very sad.

This is a perfect example as to why most days the Nostalgia & History Board gets more posts than the Western Board!
