A Nice Summer's Day On The Busy Northern Transcon

It was a nice partly cloudy Summer's day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub. The high-low so far is 81/55 with slight humidity. It's usually 90+ at this time in June, I'll take the 81 anytime over 90+. Traffic was steady today. Here are today's catches and a few from yesterday.

6/21/2018

1. WB 248pm manifest train with BNSF 5809, CP 8807 and CREX 1315 om the point with DPU.
2. Another shot of CP 8807 on same train.
3. WB 307pm coal train with BNSF 6332-9844-9165 om the pull with DPU.

4. WB 457pm "Z" train with BNSF 5181-7268-9941-4577-7694 om the pull.
5. BNSF 1412 on it's way back to Spokane on EB 517pm manifest train.
6. WB 601pm grain train with BNSF 4886-3960-6621 on the point with DPU.

7. WB 701pm grain train with BNSF 5255, KCSM 4553 and BNSF 3990 om the pull with DPU and friendly toot-toot and wave from the hogger.

10. DPU BNSF 4156 on same train fading away by old NP Ritzville Depot.
11. EB 1150am empty coal train with BNSF 8997-5901-6374 om the pull with DPU.
12. DPU BNSF 8583 on same train.

13. BNSF Hopper 497777 rolling in EB 1209pm grain train. I just liked all the sevens, lucky poker hand, lol.
14. EB 1234pm "Z" train with BNSF 7875, green and cream 9629 and BNSF H1 1014-4945 om the point.

16. Another shot of BNSF H1 1014 on same train.
17. DPU's UP 3647 and BNSF H1 989 on EB 1247pm intermodal. Head-end shot came out blurry, darn it, it did have another UP unit.
18. EB 134pm grain train with BNSF 4220-7021-8206 om the pull, no DPU.

19. EB 238pm empty coal train with BNSF 5600-5966 om the pull with DPU's at Bauman Rd., Ritzville.
20. DPU's BNSF 9017 and company on same train fading away towards CP W. Tokio.
21. EB 324pm manifest train with BNSF 3781-7419 om the point, no DPU and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
