Kyle freight action on the Goodland Subdivision. Kyle RR 3098, SD45T-2, and Utah Railway 5005, MK50-3, were making up their westbound train at Goodland, KS, June 20, 2018. Kyle is a Genesee & Wyoming operation in western Kansas.

Kyle Railroad (reporting mark KYLE) is a regional railroad line that runs from North Central Kansas into eastern Colorado. It is based in Phillipsburg, Kansas, and runs on 561 miles (903 km) track, mostly the former Rock Island Railroad Chicago to Denver main line. The Kyle was owned by Rail America from 2002 to 2012. Genesee & Wyoming Inc. bought RailAmerica in late 2012.
