Tehachapi derailment
Author: jkchubbes

Sometime around midnight a UP Northbound manifest stringlined 13 cars at Tunnel Two. This happened just as traffic was beginning to open up on the Mojave sub after the cascade tunnel collapse so expect a good amount of traffic to back up.

Anyone know more about the status on the derailment? Still no trains moving as off 1:33!

Sounds like a stringline derailment for the track to be in service so soon. Must have tipped them off with virtually no track damage.
