The second shot looks like it might be at the end of track at Krug on the Napa Valley RR. Looks like the Krug winery in the background. Taken from near the next cross street north of the winery.

Not Krug. The line east of Krug was long gone, not even remains like this, when I worked in in the 1970s.

The first photo may be somwhere on the NWP further up north, but i don't have familiarity.

The second one still looks like Krug to me. I am attaching a shot from a year and a half ago, showing part of the end of track at Krug.  It was a wet winter and there was standing water between me and the tracks, so i could not even try to poke through the brush any better. Looks like the end of track was pulled to the side and it looked like there was a small wood bridge that led up to the road crossing. Taken at Deer Park Rd north of Krug. I am going to say this is a match, but just from a different angle.

SN711 Hit the nail on the head.  https://www.google.com/maps/@38.5202965,-122.4847061,203m/data=!3m1!1e3?hl=en

The current end of track is about 100 yards south of here towards the winery.  Glorious 60lb rail still in use.  Couldn't find a date though.

The first pic is the South end of the Tidewater Southern (UP Tidewater Sub) at the South crossing of the Stanislaus River.

I was tempted to walk out on the trestle, but was afraid the authorities might be called, so I didn't linger.

The Krug line has always made it to Deer Park (and not crossed it) but seemed like not that
long ago it was still a bit more intact, neat pictures, amazing what's still around.

This is what it looks like at Krug, looking north.

The siding at Krug is back in service.  the brush and trees in the pic have been cleared past the switch enough to let a locomotive run around the train.

The daily train is one of the GE center cabs with one or two cars.  Train pulls in the siding to let passengers off and then the loco runs around on the main.
