I don't know if it is, or not: but the one one on my Micro soft train simulator (from 2001) is still working just fine! I never thought it would last this long.  My purchase receit for it is a great $29.95  Is there anywhere on TO for train simulater ?
one has to wonder.....

I still have a copy of MSTS installed on my laptop, and it runs fine. However, most of the time I run OpenRails, which is compatible with all the MSTS content and has much improved performance. Of course, the best sim is Run 8! Nothing comes even close.

It ran just fine for me as well BUT I could never get the train past the Cut Bank bridge without it pulling apart and going into emergency.

Is the original poster refering to the ballon track at Marias? They still use it to turn plows and snow dozers in the winter.

As well, the wye between Nyack and Red Eagle.

I'm rather pleased to learn that I'm not the only one who still uses that simulator. I've never known anyone else who still uses it.  Although I've had it for 17 yrs, I've ignored it for quite a long time.  I'm old enough now (71) to have enough time to really learn how to use it.  I think the thing that has surprised me the most is that (grin) I finally figured out how the get to Kalispell, and there 's a wye there!.  And there's small one at Essex, too.
One never knows....

There is also a wye at East Glacier, complete with concrete ties. I think it is mainly used by maintenance of way.

I still have MSTS on my computer with Powder River Basin route is my favorite. However I have Run8 and I don’t think I could go back to MSTS now.
