During daylight hours On both BNSF and CP...is there fleeting during certain hours...thx in advance...Stevie down old San Diego Way

I can't answer this directly.  However, you'll have to choose if you go to Hastings.  The town proper is
only served by the CP.  BNSF is on the other side of the Mississippi.  The best place to get them is
in Prescott, WI, at the end of the St. Croix River lift bridge in the morning.  CP you can do all day although
afternoon is better.  The two roads come together at the former St. Croix Tower, now just St. Croix, location
but that spot is off limits.  You can go in, but you'll be asked to leave.
