Local source reports BNSF has a derailment west of Albia Iowa on Main 1 at MP 306.7, Not sure of train but sounds like 10-15 cars involved.

Nothing yet on BNSF Service Advisories. No. 6 moving east of Albia with a 2-hour delay (after Osceola).

Both mains are seperated in this area. Main 1 runs thru the north side of Albia, Main 2 on the south side. Where the derailment is at would not affect Main 2.
I guess thats a good advantage of CTC there.

This explains why Amtrak 6 was so late into Ottumwa today - almost 5 hours late.
