The old fail safe at Warren. Mojave Ca.

- Took the long way to Fresno for my Grandmas 97th Bday party, and had the dog with me so no foxtail infested hillside hikes on this short visit. Decided to post up on the curve outside Mojave and hope for some afternoon Westbounds. There were three in quick succession but got cloud hit on the first two, but the last UP manifest was in descent light.

That's an ascent train not a descent train, other than that, nice shot and great excuse for a workout.

Really great shot.  It gives the viewer an idea of what the desert side of Tehachapi looks like...............somewhat rare.  Were you standing in the middle of a forest of windmills?
