Quick update from OERM (SCRM) from last Saturday
Author: TomPlatten

First of all, SF #108 is back after a six year restoration. Although it is looking forward to climbing Raton Pass with the Super Chief it will be content with Pumpkin Trains, Santa Trains, and Run Ones for the museum. Many named and unnamed soles contributed to the beautiful locomotive and its continued use will stand as testimony for those who performed this awesome restoration.
While it carries the load for awhile we can perform some much needed maintenance on other locomotives that kept the museum operating. SP 3100 is receiving injectors and some new fuel pumps and general work on fuel leaks. OERM #1956 needs attention on its journals and its cooling system expansion tank. It received some new generator brushes with possibly some  more later.
USAF #7441 is tired it has been running for years and is showing signs of its WWII age! SP 1474 is up for its inspection this coming Saturday, OERM 1975 awaits new batteries and inspection of the front truck to see why it likes to derail on the barn 7 lead.
Of course three or four of our folks continue working on the SP 1006 power assembly refurbishment. It never get dull!
