Light Duty Day On The BNSF Northern Transcon
Author: Ritzville

Another NICE sunny day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 64-37. Traffic was fairly steady, but I was not. Still trying to recoup my energy from this slow leaving virus. Sitting around sure gets old, lol. I managed to catch a few trains from today.

1. Grab shot of WB 937am grain train with BNSF 7900 and CSXT 5466 on the point with DPU. Sorry about the too much sun.
2. WB 1014am "Z" train with BNSF 4289-5167-H1 1077-8165-7982 on the pull with a friendly wave from the hogger.
3. Another shot of H1 1077 on same train.

4. EB 1141am intermodal train with BNSF 7353-1065 on the point with DPU. May be a re-route train.
5. DPU BNSF 9249 on same train.
6. EB 1216pm empty oil train with BNSF 4089-4084 on the pull with DPU.

10. WB 216pm manifest train with BNSF 6767-5438-5157 and PRLX 4036-6637 on the pull with DPU. Probably the most interesting train from today so far.
11. Another shot of PRLX 4036-6637 on same train. Not sure where they came from or their destination. Maybe someone can help on that information.
12. One last shot of PRLX 4036-6637 on same train.

13. DPU BNSF 7800 on same train.

That's it for today. May have to stay on light duty for awhile longer, until the virus is finally gone. Hope everyone has a great evening and tomorrow. Thank you so much for looking!

That Northtown with the short line units on it was 9600ft long and is currently in two pieces at Beatrice. BNSf has been running some trains at 9000-10000 feet for the last week or so. No DP on the trains either, crews and dispatch are not liking it.

Well that changes my thought of attempting to catch it in Pasco this evening.

If any member of TO has earned a few days off, you have.  Take it easy, your body is trying to tell you something important.
