Tonight the GSFKMR-13 will be departing Tucson, AZ around 10pm AZT.  It is scheduled to arrive at Arizona Grain in Maricopa, AZ (CP SP904 AZ Grain) around 1:00am AZT.  This train has Union Pacific 1983 (SD70ACe) - Western Pacific as the leader and Norfolk Southern 1066 (SD70ACe) - New York Central as the DPU facing backwards (2x1).  Now if it follows the traditional method of the Grain trains here, it will head East after they are done (usually 12 - 18 hours).  That should place Norfolk Southern 1066 (SD70ACe) - New York Central as the leader (1x2) heading back to Tucson, AZ.

Getting placed into the Siding at Stockham, no Crew Change performed at Tucson Yard.  ALSO, UP added a AC44 to the DPU Consist in front of the NS.  So the AC44 will lead back to Tucson as a 2x2 configuration.

Western Pacific and New York Central? Rolling tribute to Al Perlman?

The train has been tied down at the Stockham Siding, just west of the Tucson Yard. The current grain train is still unloading at the Maricopa, AZ site.
