There is a new fence between track one and the Gemco Lead at Van Nuys station, blocking images of trains out of the yard, another railfanning spot gone. Also, as you can see when this video starts the Gemco sign is gone too.

I was there last week and there are big changes in work. It looks like they are moving track 1 to where the original platform is and then building a new center platform with a underpass to get to it.

The fences are going up all over the place killing photography. They runied San Bernadino a while back.

OH Man that stinks I used to to spend many hours there just watching the switching and to take the GEMCO sign down too  .

i never said that.  I fully understand why there fence there. I just killed a nice to take pictures.
