.    .    .    on the way down to MS to visit grand girls, a few (very few as this is NOT a railfan trip, unfortunately) grabs along the way.
top: a southbound coal train crosses the lengthy Prairie Dog Town Fork of the Red River near Estelline, TX.
middle: a still in service for KCS former SD45 idled away in the yard at Leesville, LA.
bottom: a KCS local headed south at Pineville, LA.

Nice shots JB.  The KCS sure has some of the best looking consist power for locals.

You had to mention Leesville-I had my basic training there..........but, at least, the Army gave us a KCS train ride, roomette, from KC to Leesville.
