From Ash Hill which is between Ludlow and Amboy on the Needles Subdivision. 
1.  This is eastbound and climbing toward the summit of Ash Hill.
2.  The summit of Ash Hill going eastbound.
3. This westbound is just approaching the summit of the hill.

Thanks BB. Hey, every day is nice in the Mojave unless it's in the summer and 120 degrees. Weather right now is perfect for photos.

Nice set of photos Don.  @ Least with the desert trees, you can still see the whole train in one photo.  ;-)

I'm not going to give you any crap about tree's on this post I'm just going to say nice shots. Shooting in the desert is kind of like shooting in a giant cat box.
