Because UP doesn't seem to care. Date: 11/19/18 07:38 Re: Union Pacific LOF41 Day Bud Sunday Aurant Trip Author: SCKP187 Nice video---odd to see a tank right next to the power nowadays.

Something totally safe like corn syrup can go anywhere in the train. Pump Date: 11/19/18 17:20 Re: Union Pacific LOF41 Day Bud Sunday Aurant Trip Author: erielackawanna I strongly suspect that was a corn syrup car. It had no hazardous placards on it.

If I recall, Aurant is on the ex-SP at the eastern border of LA city limits/western border of Alhambra city limits along Valley Blvd/Mission Rd. Checking the TT, that would be MP 487 or so. Union Pacific Local Freight Train LOF41, nick named the "Day Bud" because it switches the Budweiser brewery during the day, made it's normal sunday trip to Aurant Yard to pick up empty autoracks to bring back to Gemco Yard. Date: 11/22/18 09:40 Re: Union Pacific LOF41 Day Bud Sunday Aurant Trip Author: SSW41 The tank is an empty. It last contained wax. The first stop on Sunday, if on the work order, is to pick up or set out at wax at around mp458.
