Very interesting that the wig-wag didn't activate until the crossing was occupied!

Looks like the approach circuit for the direction they were going failed. The wig-wag didn't start working until the crossing itself was occupied which is another circuit.

The 75MPH curve. Yes it was and more in the glory days of ATSF passenger. Once you left Model going east, it was downhill all the way to LaJunta and fast running was common and a piece of cake and smooth as good bourbon!! SD39

Reminds me of how my mom took pictures. A wake no boat, flattened grass no dog or cat. By the time she found the button the object had left lol. She said thats where the boat was or thats where the cat was. She just made me laugh a lot long ago.
