I did a couple searched on here but couldn't find the comment about what outlet was convering this.  I may have seen it somewhere else.  Forgive me if I missed it here.

So, does anyone know who is covering the train, at any point, today?  Many thanks!

I imagine most will cover it at some point. They have covered everything else so far.

Virtual Railfan will have a stream on YouTube that will be dedicated to the train. Not sure what they have planned though.

CBS had a few minutes about the train, and the flag liveried baggage car with plexiglass sides.

High school ROTC groups will salute the train at various points along the way.  The kids spoke extremely well about how President Bush's devotion to duty and family affected their lives.  Even though none were alive during 41's Presidency

Weatherman is not cooperating but it will still be a great train day. TRAINS Magazine has a good story on viewing the train.

Uncle Pete really knows how to do an event.

Try C-SPAN.  They are showing the train now, and had shots from a helicopter.  Presumably they will follow it.

The procession has arrived at the train

I just saw what was probably a live shot near the junction in Spring where it showed a crowd of people near the track and two policemen (special agents?) walking down the track in the gauge.  What type of a message does that send to the general public to stay off railroad tracks?  

This is GREAT public relations and advertising fodder for Union Pacific (even though they're not in the passenger-hauling business) provided they don't have a repeat of what happend with the 844 when it was running from Cheyenne to Denver a few months ago.

I would hazard a guess that they are doing last minute check/inspection of the tracks.

Can't you just be civil for once and not complain about something?

The train is on the move, Noticed on the NBC feed a UP employee standing at attention with his helmet off as the train passed while another employee standing right beside him had her helmet on a was videoing with her phone, disappointed to see her do that

What was I complaining about?  The fact that law enforcement officers are walking in the center of the track?  The fact that UP is no longer in the passenger-hauling business?  

CNN has feed looking forward from just under cab window. Darn they just changed it.

Uh oh.  Safety hazard.  I saw a person standing in the vestibule of the dome car just ahead of the baggage car and they were leaning out of the open dutch door!   The car host / hostess is obviously not doing their job of making sure that all dutch doors are to remain closed at all times!
