The forward-facing camera on 4141

I loved the mounting under the conductor's window. What impressed me the most - I saw only one "jiggle" at one road crossing. That sub must be FRA class 5 ;^)

I was afraid we were going to witness the death of another trespasser.

Yes the forward-facing camera on cab side was nice touch...
Did anbody else notice the dog that bolted from the left and ran across tracks right in front of the #4141? (it was at south end of one of the small towns)
I was hoping engine missed him and was relieved when train didn't slow or stop.  Probably gave that engineer a scare though...

Yup-there were several that stepped back at the last moment. There was a lot of “two-shorts”
on the whistle.

That dog or coyote was definitely hit and killed without a doubt. Saw that happen on the live stream also. We would not stop a train for something like that. If it's a dog some of us would let a track inspector know so they could look for it in the area. When/if found with collar call the owner to meet them if they wanted to. I would want someone to do the same if the tables were turned. Most just brush it off tho to be honest. On another note glad nobody got hit.

I wouldn't be suprised if there was an order that if someone had been struck today, they would not stop the train.  Due to security measures.

Really would love to look at the Incident Action Plan that was put together with Secret Service.

Sigh...
In Texas, standing in the rain...
When my dog got hit by the Bush funeral train...

That's a good start for a country song writer...

Agreed.  Saw a lot of people standing within the crossing gates at grade crossings to watch it pass.  Probably an unnerving trip for the crew.
