A brief visit
Author: vegasrails

On my return to Southern Nevada this afternoon, I jumped on to I-40, over to the Daggett/Yermo rd, turning on to northbound Yermo road that run along Interstate 15 in Yermo California, as I drove along the perimeter of the Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow I witnessed a Base Fire truck returned from a call and entered the side gate that I've never seen opened due to my timing, further into the base I spied two pairs of these US Army Geeps. Showing my retired ID and telling the Marine Police officer what I would like to photograph. I was allowed a brief entry and took a few photos of these two pairs.
Photo one side by side US Army 4621 and 4633 EMD GP 10 and GP 16
Photo two  on the apparent branch line of the base US Army 4609 and 4616 two GP 10's
Thanks for looking Ken
