Western Railroad Discussion > A Quick Look At The BNSF Northern TransconDate: 12/12/18 15:21 A Quick Look At The BNSF Northern Transcon Author: Ritzville It was a cool sunny to cloudy day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 43-31 and .12 of rain. That made it icy slippery this morning. My pinched nerve in the shoulder bothered me quite a bit, so only took a few pictures. Mostly Orange today with friendly crews. Here are several trains from today and one from Monday in the snow.
12/10/2018 1. WB 101pm "Z" with BNSF 8087 on the very point with DPU's in the fog and snow. 2. DPU's BNSF 8393-7167 on same train. 12/12/2018 3. WB 1035am "Z" train with BNSF 6424-7409-H1 1018 on the point with DPU's and a friendly toot-toot and wave from the crew. Date: 12/12/18 15:24 Re: A Quick Look At The BNSF Northern Transcon Author: Ritzville 4. Another shot of BNSF H1 1018 on same "Z".
5. DPU's BNSF H1 1051-7948 on same "Z". 6. Mr Hawk looking things over as it does every day. Date: 12/12/18 15:41 Re: A Quick Look At The BNSF Northern Transcon Author: Ritzville 7. WB 139pm manifest train with BNSF 4262-7603 on the pull with DPU and a friendly toot-toot and wave from the hogger.

Date: 12/12/18 15:45 Re: A Quick Look At The BNSF Northern Transcon Author: Ritzville 10. MoW Filling up high gondola type car with old ties, I think it's finally full and might roll out after months of sitting in the backyard.
That's it for today. Hope everyone has a great evening and tomorrow. Thank you so much for looking! Larry Ritzville, WA Date: 12/12/18 18:56 Re: A Quick Look At The BNSF Northern Transcon Author: SouthWestRailCams |
