Happy New Years - Have a Blast
Author: robj

3/5/2007 -  Iowa Chiago and Eastern Russell blasts through a little drift at Alpha Minnesota nearing Jackson.  The plow with a pair of SD-40-2's had come up Mason City and tied up for the night at Jackson.

Looks like ex-CPR SD40-2's looking at the class lights above the number boards!

Nice, certainly hasn't been enough snow here in Eastern Washington to need anything like that this year!

Excellent image. Your thawing out after taking this photo must have taken a long time.

It was a long day leaving home well before sunrise, starting at Mason City and ending in Jackson at sunset, of course long for the crew.   MOW and crew had dug out the crossing and are making sure plow does not derail at Jackson.
