Western Railroad Discussion > Another Damp Dark Day On The BNSF Northern TransconDate: 01/09/19 15:40 Another Damp Dark Day On The BNSF Northern Transcon Author: Ritzville It was a breezy damp dark cool day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside sub with a high-low of 39-32 with .11 of ice rain. After today's weather should be sunny and warmer. Hard to believe in January. Traffic was so-so with a three hour lull in the morning for MoW after yesterday's busy day. Here are some of today's trains and one from yesterday.
1/8/2019 1. WB 341pm oil train with BNSF 7616, CREX 1414 on the point with DPU's and a freindly toot-toot from the hogger. 2. DPU's CREX 1416 and BNSF 6891 on same train. 1/9/2019 3. Larry, Looks like BNSF is starting to run trains.. I have heard a many go by here in Cheney in the last three hours.. You will probably hear horns till you go to bed tonight.. :-D Thanks for your coverage of the Lakeside Sub!!
