Freight car Friday!
Author: Fiftyfooter

Founded in 1909, the Laurinburg and Southern Railroad is a 28 mile short-line railroad that runs from Raeford to Laurinburg, North Carolina. The railroad has been owned by Gulf & Ohio Railways since 1998.Interchanging with CSX, the LRS moves 5,800 cars annually utilizing three locomotives. Shipments include glass and chemicals.“This railroad is a piece of living history. In an age of fast-paced change in the railroad industry— and in our society in general— historic survivors like the Laurinburg & Southern are rare. They offer a bridge between railroading’s community-driven past and its efficiency driven present.” - Author & Historian Tony Reevy

That's some good stuff right there.  3rd picture with the door missing is quite interesting.

I like #3 and #6. I've never seen the actual dividers in some boxcars like in #3. The door laying on the floor is neat and would make a great modeling idea.
