Date: 01/17/19 21:50 Re: Donner Opens- First WB Through Author: coach So they predicted around 3-4 feet for Norden. What was the final result?
Date: 01/17/19 22:04 Re: Donner Opens- First WB Through Author: BoilingMan I’m not sure how those things are calculated, but I was here 2 days ago and the added depth is about a foot or so.
I had a job recording the precipitation totals in the Sierra during the winter of 1984-85 and we derived totals from the melted water- so my observed 1ft would not be official under their rules... Larry Date: 01/18/19 07:10 Re: Donner Opens- First WB Through Author: WAF 81 inches at the base of Sugar Bowl, up the road from Norden, so I suspect they got two foot plus for the storm
