Western Railroad Discussion > Sunday morning trio of trainsDate: 02/10/19 21:39 Sunday morning trio of trains Author: oyw Even though todays weather in Southern California was pretty rough, cabin fever got the best of me so I hit the road in search of sunshine. I ended up in the Hesperia area this morning, lots of trains although nothing unusual. Here are three pics from when the sun was out, all taken along Santa Fe Ave east of the airport between 8-8:30AM.
1) First up was westbound BNSF 6645 with NS SD70M 2645 second out, on what looks to be a nice day. Not so when looking the other way. 2) Just as the 6645 cleared, this is how the skies looked behind me. I was on the edge of the rain clouds, the wind was raging and the temps were in the low 40's when UP 8079 showed up on an eastbound stack train. 3) I seemed to be chasing rainbows much of the morning when I finally mustered up this feeble attempt with UP 2739. If you look real close, the rainbow is to the far left. That will do it, thanks for looking. OYW Date: 02/10/19 21:56 Re: Sunday morning trio of trains Author: bmarti7 Nice pics!
