Date: 02/11/19 18:27 Re: Stockton Author: Valleyman Who cares how long ago the cars derailed. The railroads have habit of leaving derailed cars everywhere. Look at the curve just north of Bealville! The BNSF had a derailment 4 months ago at MP1118, near Farmington Rd., in Stockton. Those cars are still there. Saw them today on there sides. Not sure why people have to look at derailed cars for weeks or months. Especially next to your back fence.

Date: 02/11/19 19:50 Re: Stockton Author: Lkirts Was wondering if the city had any recourse, especially if it's becoming a nuisance.

Have never had to call them on the railroads... Bill Deaver Tehachapi, CA Date: 02/11/19 20:15 Re: Stockton Author: ble692 The thought of code enforcement by a city on a railroad seems almost absurd to me. Would they even have any authority?

Now mind you this is Stockton we are taking about, and after living there for 15+ years I can vouch that just about anything there is fair game. I mean this is the town that had a billboad in the past at West Ln and the UP Fresno Sub xing that was tallying the murder count in town for the year. Once weekend I noticed it jumped from 54 to 57. Bad weekend I guess... |
