does anybody know some of the bnsf's oil train symbols to the pacific northwest from the bakken oil fields.

of special interest are any of the oil train symbols that go via the mrl.

Here are the PNW terminal symbols -

AWA is Arco, WA, BP refinery, Cherry Pt.
FEP is Phillips, Cherry Point
FTE is Fidalgo Tesoro, Anacortes

From a couple of years ago, here are some train IDs that were active:
U AWATIO
U AWATND
U ELUFEP
U EPPAWA
U EPPFTE
U FTEEPP
U TIOAWA
U TNDAWA
U FTEFYN

There is one more terminal at Tacoma - US Oil.  I thought the symbol is TUS but I can't find it on the active list I had, so don't take that to the bank.  I believe UP is the primary carrier to Tacoma, but BNSF sometimes brings in trains from Canada.

Not many symbols shown running via the MRL - in my list (a snapshot of one day), there are 0 - everything is on the HiLine.

Yes, Ted is correct on Tacoma being TAO for the BNSF..

Haven't heard or seen what UP train symbols to Tacoma or even the southern calif destinations...
