There's something about a general freight that makes it a little more interesting than unit trains or intermodal. Always curious what's in all those cars and where they go. Refrigerators up to the central valley? along with many of those box cars for loading stuff to eat and drink? The military tanks to where? Are all westbound freights broken up and reorganized in Barstow?
