Western Railroad Discussion > Winter Is Still Pounding The Backyard On The BNSFDate: 03/12/19 15:41 Winter Is Still Pounding The Backyard On The BNSF Author: Ritzville It was a cold snowy day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 35/26 and three inches of new snow. First time to have so much snow in March in the eight years I've lived in Ritzville. Maybe this is Winter's final gasp seeing that it will be near 50 degrees by Sunday. Traffic was fairly steady today in snow showers all day. Here are some of the trains from today and a few from sunny yesterday afternoon.
3/11/2019 1. WB 408pm manifest train with BNSF 7419-5487 on the point with DPU. Looking at the sunny afternoon, wouldn't know three inches of snow was on the way, lol. 2.
