It was another nice sunny day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 60-36. First 60 degree day in many months. Traffic was steady with some added UP re-routes, which will end with the re-opening of the UP line. Here are some of the trains from today and several from yesterday.

3/20/2019

1. WB 258pm grain train with BNSF 6932 and CSXT 32 on the point with DPU's.

3. WB 316pm oil train with BNSF 4904-4235 on the pull with DPU's and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.

CP 8876 was one of the 'Olympic' units. CP was a sponsor for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. The Olympic logo has pretty much faded into oblivion.

Nice series Larry.  Nice to see the unusual amount of foreign power that was present.  I've never seen a CP unit like that.

Thank you Larry! It’s nuts here in La Crosse with detours on both the BNSF and CP. More trains than crews! It’s a mess in Nebraska so I’m sure we’ll have coal reroutes for a while.
