I've ridden the Katy Trail across most of Missouri and hoping to do it again this fall, along with a bit of Missouri's new Rock Island Trail from KC to StL; then the River Runner back to KC and the Chief to LA.

Since building a new non-rail path would be required it would be easier to get from Chardron, Neb Cowboy trail) to Miles city, Mt (ex Milwaukee Road) and include some of the ex BN in the Black hills that is already a path. The article mentions the Kansas City area, however it was datelined "Eugene". which is halfway across the state closer to Jefferson City. |
