Stadler Rail US held an open house 10 & 11 May 2019.  Invited guests had a private showing event on 9 May 2019 at their new Salt Lake City, Utah, facility.  Expansion and other buildings will be added in future months/years.  Images taken 11 May 2019.

3-CalTrain double deck cars under construction.  Caltrain ordered 37 additional double-deck Electric Multi-Unit (EMU) cars for the San Francisco to San Jose, CA, electrification project in December 2018.  16 trainsets are ordered with the additional cars upping trains sets from 6-cars to 7-cars and added three more 7-car trainsets to the fleet.  Extra vehicles priced at $174.6 million per CalTrain 2016 contract.

CalTrain 2018 passenger count -weekday ridership- is around 65,000.
