TRANSCON Training - Part 5 - Epilogue
Author: cinder

My five day trip to the TRANSCON from Manassas, VA was "weather-forecasted" for showers every day.  The weather was nearly perfect every day.  I hoped for the San Fransisco Peaks to be "out" .... and they were.  I wanted to see an "Arizona Diamondback" in Kingman Canyon .... and I did.  I was blessed.

A drive on US 66 was an added treat; especially Seligman, AZ.  I enjoyed two breakfasts at the Westside Lilo's Cafe as recommended by TO's Ray Lewis.

1&2.  Seligman.  A town where time has deliberately stood still.
3.  A meet two miles west of Seligman.  It is here that the double tracks are separated horizontally and vertically.  Easy access off US 66.
