3 points!

Westbound UP AGBML splits the goal posts at West Palm Springs, CA on December 8, 2018.  Over the past 50 years, the San Gorgonio Pass in Southern California has become a center for the development of wind dependent energy generation as evidenced by the forest of windmills on its east slope.  Fortunately, this area is also host to the ex-SP Sunset Route, which begins its steep climb out of the low desert just east of here.  In this image, a single SD70ACe and a DPU slowly wind their way upgrade with a loaded autorack train headed for Mira Loma, CA where Union Pacific operates an auto transfer facility.  Thanks for looking!

Cheers,

Paul
