Western Railroad Discussion > 10 units lead a southbound through DunsmuirDate: 06/16/19 14:55 10 units lead a southbound through Dunsmuir Author: photobob I got a hot tip about a sighting of a southbound with 10 units rolling through Mt Shasta. I went out and braved the heat to get a shot. Here it is leaving Dunsmuir this afternoon. Of course all the units were running. The Dunsmuir Turntable can be seen in the second shot.

Agree, first three were obviously running and some of the trailing units had their stacks capped. There's been a number of trains the past few days with DIT and stacks capped, the Z right behind it had some suspect units as well. No doubt from Hinkle but also interesting timing with Oregon's new Tax laws. Great photo though. Awesome weather in the neighborhood. Edited 3 time(s). Last edit at 06/16/19 16:43 by TCnR. I don't know the actual UPrr reason for moving the units, it seems to coincide with this info in the post about Oregon Taxes, linked: Date: 06/03/19 19:43 New Oregon taxes https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,4805033,4805106#msg-4805106 > ----- > > No doubt from Hinkle > > but also interesting timing with Oregon's new > Tax > > laws. > > Can you elaborate on this ?
