TRAINS magazine was live there yesterday, reported that #3 track was out of service but some trains where being walked through.  Some crossing pavement was being ripped out to help the flow/drainage.

There's sure a lot of fat fingering sum beaches out there!   Are we talking about UP 4019?  Or UP 4914?  Or UP 4014?  ha.

US30 is closed through Gibbon, so it's difficult to say if all mains are open. With that said, trains were flowing through at slow speeds when I was there this morning.

UP 4014 Big Boy laid over at North Platte, Nebraska, July 10, 2019.  Thanks for info on Gibbon, NE, flooding.

Locals enjoyed the sunshine after the rainy weather earlier in the week across Nebraska.  UP 4014 did leave North Platte on Thursday, July 11 at 10:00 AM.
