Wow!.Front page video, indeed!

I just sold everything I own and am moving to Kingman. I'm packing as I type this.

On a serious note, being the engineer on this must be awesome. All that tonnage moving at that speed with the horsepower spread out like that, geez.

I think that the trailing DPU was the Microsoft Train Sim unit.

That's amazing when you pan towards the rear and it's just container after container coming at ya!

And just to think if they had been true 6 axle AC locomotives you could have done it with two less locomotives, just says!!

If you look closely, you can't see any heat plumes coming off the stacks of the 2nd and 4th motors. So, the train did do it with two less running afterall. :D

Very impressive train, and very good/slow/back and forth camera panning technique, without making us seasick! (Just like one would turn thier head, looking left to right, and back, to take it all in)

One thing that struck me about this train was the large number of single stack units. Mostly these seem to have two 20-footers in the well so presumably weight limits played a factor. Still, a lot of unused capacity.

I love how, as fast as we KNOW this train is running, when you go for the last shot of the entire train it seems like the front end is barely moving at all.

Indeed it is the Microsoft Train Simulator unit. Nice to see it still around.
