3x3 coal lds on the seligman sub
Author: goneon66

a great "heads-up" led me to these very rare 3x3 coal lds descending kingman canyon on the bnsf's seligman sub.  the location is on main#1 just w/of downtown kingman, az yesterday.  towards the end of the video an e/b is also seen crawling up the canyon on main#2........

Thanks for posting.  Did you notice the DPU's were all DC engines?  Odd for a coal train.  And where is this train going?  GGPX were the main
reporting marks.  Also, although roatary coupler equipped, these were all bottom dump hoppers and not rotary gons.  A really interesting train.

in the past, i THINK i have seen a symbol something like c-esm-vvc (coal lds el segundo mine, nm - victorville).  these coal lds might be taking  coal to the cement plants in the victorville/oro grande,ca on the bnsf's cajon sub.

towards the end of the train i thought i should get some of the coal hopper's reporting marks...........

This was C-CCOMCC loaded at Carbon Coal on the Defiance Spur west of Gallup. Coal is trucked from southern Colorado. Destination is Mitsubishi Cement Cushenbury, CA

Since it interchanges with Union Pacific, does the power run through too?
