Amarillo to Belen long pool

Has anybody heard how well the Amarillo to Belen long pool is working out?  Are there many dog catches or is everything running smooth since it is all two main  track?

The dying on hours of service usually occurs At Amarillo. But seems to intermittent for trans con trains. If they leave for Colorado here they are screwed.
