6936 thru Cajon this AM (DonWinslow’s fault)
Author: oyw

OK, clickbait for sure but Don started it with his 3751 thread yesterday. Most should get the reference, this morning BNSF 6936 not UP Centennial DDA40X 6936 leads an eastbound up Cajon, not far from where Don’s shot was taken. Meant all in fun but if anyone takes offense, Don Winslow made me do it!:-}

When were you up there and where? I started out at Cajon Station at 5:30am and moved down to Cozy Dell about about 8:00am. It got very quiet until a little after 9:00am when I left to beat the heat.

This thread reminds me, I caught 4449 leading a wb grain train through Needles back in 1997.

You got me--and I should have known better.  Good fun subject---havn't seen any good numbers to play with in my area for quite a while.

Nice photo but I am afraid that I prefer the other 6936.

This is a perfect example of misleading people while telling a 100% truth. I must admit I am a big UP 6936 fan and bought the story hook, line and sinker. I enjoy these play on words titles.

But at least this one is actually wanted and is being used.
