Western Railroad Discussion > WNY&P--Long Way From HomeDate: 08/05/19 07:30 WNY&P--Long Way From Home Author: livesteamer Found the WNY&P #6002 over the weekend sitting in a rather empty yard a long way from home. So, any guess as to where this unit was located? The obvious hint is the fact that I am posting on the Western Board.

Even with the new powerplants, CSX decided to rid themselves of these units because of their higher fuel consumption, and being an oddball among the fleet.
