Western Railroad Discussion > Kyle RR Three MK50's in Colorado 29 Aug 2019Date: 08/30/19 05:23 Kyle RR Three MK50's in Colorado 29 Aug 2019 Author: cozephyr Kyle Railroad placed three Utah Railway MK50-3 units; 5006, 5002 and 5004, along with Kyle RR 2128, GP38-3, on westbound train out of Goodland, KS, early 29 August 2019. Train set out 25-empty covered hoppers at Stratton, Colorado. The former Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific RR line is busy with 2019 grain harvest.

Date: 08/30/19 06:17 Kyle RR 5006 at Siebert, CO, 29 Aug 2019 Author: cozephyr Kyle RR MK50-3 action on their Goodland Subdivision. Utah Railway 5006, 5002 and 5004 are rare units operating in 2019. Westbound train was on the ex-Rock Island at Siebert, CO. At right is Siebert depot foundation and station sign.
