Western Railroad Discussion > Last of the BMLPDate: 08/31/19 11:29 Last of the BMLP Author: mococomike It looks like I'm the last of the TO members I met trackside last weekend trackside on the BMLP to post their photos. I won't bore you with images of the train on big sweeping curves and other scenery since fellow TO members have already posted those. Here are a few from last weekends final run.
1. The engineer contemplating on his last run. His sister and other family members had just stopped by for photos and to wish him off. 2. A horse skull looks on as the engineer waves to locals at a grade crossing that came out to see the train passing. 3. A westbound into the sunset. Date: 08/31/19 11:32 Re: Last of the BMLP Author: mococomike 1. The Engineer
2. The EB empty passes a natural lake formed by run offf from White Mesa. This is a good large mouth bass fishing spot for locals. 3. A local rode his bike out to the crossing to check out the scene. Date: 08/31/19 11:35 Re: Last of the BMLP Author: mococomike 1. The builders plate
2. Local art on old fgas station 3. A great looken and well maintained right of way Date: 08/31/19 11:47 Re: Last of the BMLP Author: erielackawanna Tremenouds shots - wish I'd had more time when I was there - not that I'd have come up with these beauties anyway. Need to eye to do that.

A "roof" over the cab air conditioner and the bracket on the plows that mounts the rubber sheets that push things like coal off the rails. I was hoping to catch he and his friend fishing but they moved around the corner by the time the train arrived.
